NEC International Limited Warranty Service [hereafter referred to as "International Service"] provides technical support and repairs for your NEC products while you are abroad (i.e. outside your country of purchase).

NOTE: The contents and conditions of this International Service may be changed without prior notice.

Supported products:

Scope of the Service:

International Service applies to hardware failures of your NEC products and customer replaceable units (CRU).

Note: International Service is not extended to software support for your NEC products.

Warranty Period:

The International Service agreement shall be for a period as stipulated in the Service and Warranty Guide that is with the product and commence upon the date of purchase of the product. International Service after warranty period may be provided at your own cost.

Contents of International Service:

• Telephone Support:

  NEC Customer Support Centers in each participating service countries can be contacted by phone during local business hours for technical support and repairs of your product.

• Hardware Repair

  Depending on the country where service is being requested, hardware repair can be accomplished by one of the following:
  

  1. Carry-in Service
  2. Pickup & Return (Courier) Service
  3. On-Site Service
     

NOTES:

• Please retain your product registration receipt for proof of purchase and specific dates of coverage of this International Service.
• Repairs will not be made on products without proof of registration.
• International Service is designed for NEC customers who will hand carry their products abroad.
• Requests for service are only available in the participating service countries.
• If the provisions of the International Service set forth in this Web Site differ from those that are provided in the country for requested service, then the provisions of the servicing country will apply.
• Export of these products (i.e. to hand carry as personal baggage) may require a permit from the local government authorities. Be sure to check with the customs authority if a permit is required for export of your NEC products to the specific country you will be visiting.
